Jim Brown

This is my only Jim Brown card, bought on eBay a few years ago. I wanted to buy his 1966 card instead (one of the few I still need to complete that set), but it was just too expensive, so I settled for his 1964 card.
Is there anything you don't already know about Jim Brown? No, but I'm going to prattle on anyway.

Brown played from 1957-65, and started every game during his career.

He led the NFL in rushing every season except 1962, when the Packers' Jim Taylor logged 1474 yards to Brown's 996.

1962 was also the only season that Brown was NOT named first-team All-Pro.

He led the NFL in rushing touchdowns 5 times.

Brown was also the league's MVP 3 times, including his final season.

The Browns finished first in their division 4 times during Brown's 9 seasons, and were the NFL champs in 1964.

The Browns are much-maligned for never playing in a Super Bowl, but they were a powerhouse in the pre-Super Bowl era, playing in their league's championship game 12 times in their first 13 seasons, and winning 7 of them.
